Sega ported Sonic 1&2 to the Master System, and the music still sounds kinda decent, even with it being an 8-bit game. That blue border is fucking annoying though.

The border probably would have been hidden by the TV. The NES has a hardware flag to chop off pixels and leave a border in order to hide some scrolling and sprite artifacts.

I literally hooked up my Genesis tonight and played Sonic 3. I had the hardest time convincing my wife that, yes, Michael Jackson did help compose the soundtrack.

While the Dreamcast and Genesis Sonic games have always been the best, these Master System games had some good tunes at least.
